Hi Dear Brothers and Sisters in our faithful, loving, devoted, forgiving, Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I was just thinking about you all (well not individually but as a whole) and am so excited about seeing you at the reunion and just being in the midst of the family of God - seeing smiles and hearing wonderful music and – well you know. I know you’re excited too.
As you know, we have received prayer requests for Bubba Bryan and Gary Rodriguez . It is so wonderful and comforting to be able to lift them up to our Lord and to know others are praying too.
It’s just sad sometimes though, isn’t it? - the hardships and difficulties of life.
We have so much to be happy about and then we have so much that brings us sadness and grief. I think of Proverbs 16:20 (a verse my husband leans on often) which says “whosoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he.” No matter what, our happiness does come from trusting in our Lord. Knowing without a doubt our loving Daddy cares for us and will always make a way through EVERYTHING. Oh Lord Jesus, we cry out to You. You are the great deliverer.
I mainly wanted to say I hope you all can come to the reunion. I understand if you’re unable to but I hope you can.
Some of our lives haven’t turned out quite the way we had planned and we may have questions about how God handles things or how He allows things to be handled that touch us so directly. We may not feel we have much to say or offer anyone at this very time because of something or another. Our lives may at time seem to be a mess.
Come anyway.
You will be amongst brothers and sisters. I believe after 30 + years, we have all experienced enough to have more compassion and understanding for each other. Let’s just all come with hope in our hearts that our wonderful Daddy is going to provide for us a very special time of blessing.
Well that’s it, I just wanted to express my love to you all (I know I don’t know so many of you but I believe you can understand the love God puts in our hearts for each other) and I am REALLY looking forward to our time together.
Dori (Stephens) Greeson
P.S. Thank You Daddy for loving us and giving us each other.
